Public Holiday: There is big news for employees. Once again they will get the benefit of leave. Public holiday has been declared for this.

Orders for this have also been issued by the District Collector. Due to the holiday, all government offices and factories will be kept closed.

Relief to employees too

Summer vacation is already going on in schools. In such a situation, after the relief given to the students, now the employees are also going to get relief. In fact, keeping in mind the Ludhiana West Assembly by-election in Punjab, the administration has issued orders to give paid leave to all voters on June 19.

Leave will be applicable on these employees

Its purpose is to get maximum benefit of voting from the voters. This order will also be applicable to all the employees working in private industrial and commercial institutions and shops. They will be given the benefit of leave with salary. The administration has issued instructions for this.

While issuing the directive, the administration has clarified that this order will affect every employee who is a registered voter in Ludhiana West constituency, (whether he is in a government or private institution or working in a commercial shift, whether it is day or night), they will also be given full leave payment.

This means that the benefits will not be applicable only to regular employees. Workers working on daily wages will also get the facility of paid leave on this day. The administration has requested all working factories, shops and institutions to give the benefit of leave to their employees on this day and not to cut their salary so that everyone can give their full cooperation in voting.
