Public Holiday: The series of holidays continues in Punjab in the month of April. Holidays were declared in schools, colleges and offices across the state on several major religious and national occasions.

There will be a holiday in the state on Tuesday, April 29. According to the information, all schools, colleges and government departments in the state will be closed on this day.
Let us tell you that the birth anniversary of Lord Parashuram is being celebrated with devotion on April 29, in view of which the Punjab government has declared a public holiday across the state.
Meanwhile, the Punjab School Education Board has issued new instructions to all school principals and district education officers. The education board has issued a letter stating that the summer season has begun and according to information received from various sources, there is a possibility of extreme heat in the future, keeping this in mind, the National Disaster Management Authority has issued guidelines related to the prevention and management of heat waves.
The instructions given in these guidelines should be communicated to students in morning assembly, physical education class, or classroom.
