This will prevent unauthorized people from entering the station and the crowd at the stations will also not increase. Let us tell you that this access control (AC) system will be installed at the entry and exit gates of the station. At the time of entry, passengers will have to show their confirmed tickets on the scanner machine. The gate will open for passengers only if the confirmed ticket is correct, after which you will be able to go inside the railway station. If the ticket is not confirmed, then you will not get entry into the railway station.
Token will have to be taken to go to the platform.
Under this new change, if a passenger wants to go only to the platform, then he will have to take a platform token at a fixed fee. During this time, face recognition CCTV cameras will also be installed at the gate, which will keep an eye on every activity of the passengers. Let us tell you that in the first phase, a list of major and busy railway stations of North Western Railway is being prepared. As soon as approval is received from the board, the work of implementing the Access Control (AC) system will be started at the railway stations.
