Everyday lakhs of passengers travel by train. Some people travel long distances by train while some people travel short distances by train. However, traveling by train is also a great relief for the people. But if the train gets late then people can also get upset. Meanwhile, there is a possibility that the fare of Bharat Gaurav Train may be cut. Actually, Bharat Gaurav train has been affected by the lack of passengers for a long time.

    Rent can be so low

Due to lack of passengers, the fare of ‘Bharat Gaurav’ train is likely to be reduced by about 20 to 30 percent. However, a final decision is yet to be taken in this regard. According to sources, IRCTC has been forced to cancel at least two special tourist packages due to the high fares of these trains.

    that’s the rent

IRCTC has so far been successful in operating only one service of this train on the Ramayana circuit of the Swadesh Darshan scheme. On the other hand, the third-AC fare for an 18-day package in Bharat Gaurav Paryatan train is Rs 62,000. At the same time, approval has come from the Railways to IRCTC to reduce the fare of this special train just a year after the service started.

IRCTC has to take the final decision

If sources are to be believed, this train was started as part of efforts to promote domestic tourism with the help of better quality coaches and practical tourism packages. However, the high fares made it a ‘luxury brand’ limited to a select class. Sources say, “Sleeper and third-AC fares have been approved to be reduced by 20 to 30 per cent. Now IRCTC will take a final decision on this soon.
