At which toll will you get the benefit and where not?
If you buy this annual fastag, then you will get the benefit of it on the toll of national highways and expressways under NHAI and Ministry of Road Transport and you will be able to cross these tolls with the help of this pass. Whereas, on state highways or municipal toll roads, your fastag will work as before, here you will have to pay toll separately.
Will I have to buy a new Fastag?
If you are wondering whether you will have to buy a new pass separately to avail the benefits of this annual FASTag pass? Then know that no, because those who already have a FASTag will not need to buy a new one. The pass will be activated only after verification of the vehicle and the FASTag linked to it.
This is how you can buy annual pass:-
Step 1
- To get the annual pass of Rs 3000, you have to visit the Rajmarg Yatra App or the NHAI/MoRTH website
- Here you have to login with Fastag ID or your vehicle number
- For this, you have to make an online payment of Rs 3000 (UPI, debit card etc.)
Step 2
- Now as soon as your payment is done, this Rs 3000 pass gets linked with your existing Fastag.
- You will receive an SMS informing you that your annual pass worth Rs 3,000 has been activated.
