SBI: 3 Ways To Request For SBI Bank Account Transfer From One Branch To Another – Check the entire process here

    State Bank of India (SBI) customers who are planning to transfer their SBI account from one branch to another can now do it online from the comfort of their homes and will not have to visit the bank for every small task .

    To transfer SBI account from one branch to another branch, you must have the branch code where you want to transfer your account and your phone number must be registered with SBI account.

    All SBI customers can also change the bank branch through YONO app or YONO Lite in their smartphone, even in this case your phone number must be linked with the bank. This is how you can easily transfer SBI bank account from one branch to another through online medium.

    1. First of all, you go to the official personal banking page of SBI – onlinesbi.com.
    2. After this go to Personal Banking and login with your account.
    3. Once you have logged in after filling the OTP, select the ‘e-Services’ tab on the menu bar.
    4. Now you have to choose the option of ‘Transfer of Savings Account’.

    How to transfer SBI bank account from one branch to another through YONO SBI?

    1. First of all log in to the customer SBI YONO app.
    2. After this go to the ‘Services’ option.
    3. Now you have to select the option ‘Transfer of Savings Account’.
    4. Here you have to provide the savings account you want to transfer to along with the new branch code and click on Get Branch Name.
    5. The name of the new branch will be Flash and if it is correct then click on ‘Submit’ option.
    6. The details should be cross checked once and then finally submit your request.

    Here’s how to transfer SBI bank account from one branch to another using YONO Lite SBI.

    1. Go to the Services section of YONO Lite SBI.
    2. Under this, click on the Transfer of Savings Account option.
    3. Now you have to select the bank account which you want to transfer to another branch.
    4. After you have selected the account, you need to select the branch code of SBI where you want to transfer the selected account.
    5. Here you will receive an OTP, which you will need to enter to finalize your request for Bank Account Transfer. Next click on the submit option.
    6. At this stage you will get a message saying ‘Your account transfer request has been processed’.
