School Online Attendance Mobile App: Raipur: Now the attendance of teachers and students will be recorded online in the schools of Chhattisgarh. For this, the School Education Department has prepared a mobile app, which has been developed by the team of IIT Bhilai.
The special thing about this app is that it is GPS (latitude-longitude) based. That is, the app will be active only when the teacher is present in the school premises and he will be able to record his and his class students’ attendance. The app will not work if you try to mark attendance while staying outside the school.
Trial started from RD Tiwari School
CG School Online Attendance Mobile App: The trial of this system began on Wednesday from R.D. Tiwari School in the capital Raipur. On this occasion, the state nodal officer of Vidya Samiksha Kendra and the technical team reached the school. Here the app was downloaded on the teachers’ mobiles and its live demo was also shown.
What will be the benefit?
- Timely attendance of teachers will be ensured.
- There will be a digital record of the attendance of the students.
- Fake attendance will be banned.
- The education department will be able to monitor directly.
This new system is soon going to be implemented in other government schools of the state. The education department believes that this will promote both transparency and discipline in schools.
