Uttar Pradesh Summer Holidays 2025 : School holidays have been announced in Uttar Pradesh. In view of the ever-increasing heat in Uttar Pradesh, the government has fixed summer holidays in all schools from May 20.
Summer holidays will start in government schools of UP from May 20. Along with this, the government has also issued special instructions for the protection of children from heat wave. However, summer vacation will start from May 10, 2025 in most of the private schools of Noida Ghaziabad, UP.
Students will not go to the ground after 9 o’clock
The government has said that no sports or practice will be held in the ground after 9 am. Prayer meetings or morning assemblies will now be held in a shady place or classroom instead of an open ground. So that children can avoid the sun and heat. All schools have also been instructed to tell children ways to avoid the heat. So that children can protect themselves in case of any problem.
In which schools will this rule be applicable
This order will be applicable to all government primary, upper primary and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas. Schools have also been told to ensure cold and clean water for children. Strict action will be taken in case of any negligence.
These items should be available in schools
Also, it has been made mandatory to have first aid kit, ORS and necessary medicines available in every school, so that immediate treatment can be provided whenever required. Holidays in government schools will begin from 20th May, but if the temperature increases further, the holidays can be started even before that.
Whereas, holidays in private schools will begin between 10th and 20th May. The government will take the final decision after looking at the weather. This step is considered very important for the safety of children, so that there is no harm due to the heat and they remain safe.
