Ayushman Card Helpline Number: If you have an Ayushman card, there’s good news for you. Ayushman cardholders in Uttar Pradesh will now be relieved of long queues. The Yogi government is launching a call center for patients enrolled in the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Once this call center opens, patients can book their appointments from home simply by calling.

Which number will the appointment be used for?
At a ceremony held at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Scientific Convention Center, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak announced that Ayushman Bharat cardholders can now book their appointments simply by calling the toll-free number 180018004444. After booking an appointment, people won’t have to wait in long queues at the hospital.

What is the Ayushman Bharat Scheme?
The Ayushman Bharat Scheme is a health insurance scheme run by the Government of India. This scheme provides free insurance of ₹5 lakh per family per year. This card can be used at any private or public hospital listed across the country. This scheme is designed to benefit over 100 million poor and vulnerable families.

How is the Ayushman Card made?
Getting an Ayushman Bharat Card is now very easy. This card is issued under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) of the Government of India. You can even get this card made from the comfort of your home.

  • First, download the Ayushman app on your phone.
  • After that, you’ll need to select your language.
  • After selecting the language, log in and click on Beneficiary.
  • After this, you’ll need to enter the captcha and mobile number.
  • The Search for Beneficiary page will open. Here, you’ll need to select PM-JAY as the scheme.
  • After this, you’ll need to select your state and district and enter your Aadhaar number to log in to the app.
  • The Ayushman cards of your household members will appear. Those who don’t have an Ayushman card will see “Authenticate” next to their name.
  • Now, where you see “Authenticate,” tap on it and enter the member’s Aadhaar number.
  • You’ll receive an OTP. After entering that OTP, a photo of the member will be clicked.
  • After this, you’ll need to enter the member’s mobile number and their relationship to you. After completing e-KYC, you’ll need to submit the form.
  • After all the information is verified, the Ayushman card of that member will be made.

There is great news for all senior citizens aged 70 years or above. Now they will get free health cover of up to Rs 5 lakh every year, that too without any income or scheme eligibility condition. The name of this new benefit is Ayushman Vay Vandana Card, which was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in October 2024. This card is an extension of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and is especially for those elderly who have crossed the age of 70 years or above.

Its biggest advantage is that it covers about 2000 medical treatments, and there is no waiting period. Meaning every pre-existing condition is covered from day one.

What is Vaya Vandana Card?

This card provides a health cover of Rs 5 lakh every year to all those people who are 70 years of age or above. If someone is already taking advantage of the Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY scheme, then he will get an additional top-up of Rs 5 lakh. Those who already have a government or private health scheme will have to choose one of them. Even those who have a health cover from a private company are eligible for this scheme.

How to get Ayushman Vaya Vandana Card:

  • First of all, download Ayushman app in your mobile from Google Play Store.
  • Open the app and select the correct option between ‘Login as beneficiary’ or ‘operator’.
  • Enter captcha, enter mobile number and choose authentication method.
  • Login by entering OTP and captcha.
  • Give the app permission to access the phone’s location.
  • Now enter the beneficiary details – like state name and Aadhaar related information.
  • If the name does not appear in the system, follow the e-KYC process and give consent for OTP.
  • Give the declaration and fill the required fields.
  • Enter beneficiary’s mobile number and OTP.
  • Fill the remaining information including category and pin code.
  • Add details of family members and submit.
  • Once e-KYC is completed and approval is received, you can download your Ayushman Vaya Vandana card.

Which treatments will be covered?

With this card, treatments can be availed under 27 medical specialties including general medicine, general surgery, orthopedics, cardiology, oncology. Some special treatments like hemodialysis / peritoneal dialysis, acute ischemic stroke, total hip replacement, total knee replacement, PTCA, single / double chamber permanent pacemaker implantation are also included in it.

Where will the facilities be available?

Beneficiaries of Ayushman Vay Vandana Card can avail the benefits of this scheme in more than 30,072 hospitals across the country, including 13,352 private hospitals. And the most important thing is that all these treatments will be cashless. If you or someone in your family is 70 years or above, then definitely take advantage of this health cover. For this, now Ayushman Vaya Vandana card can be made directly through the Ayushman app. The central government has taken a big step towards making health services easy and accessible for the elderly in the country.

What is Ayushman Vaya Vandana Card?

This is a special health ID card, which comes under the Ayushman Bharat scheme of the Government of India. Through this card, all citizens aged 70 years or above can get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh annually in listed government and private hospitals of the country. This scheme was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the year 2018, which has now become the world’s largest government health insurance scheme.

Who will get the benefit?

This scheme is for all Indian citizens. If your age is 70 years or more. Those who have a valid Aadhaar card. Those whose mobile number is linked to Aadhaar. They can take advantage of this government scheme. There is no income restriction in this scheme. Whether you are rich or poor, if your age is 70 or more, then you are eligible for it.

You can apply in two ways – through the mobile app or by visiting the official website.

1. How to apply through Ayushman App

Download Ayushman App from Google Play Store.

Login as Beneficiary.

Enter mobile number and captcha, then verify with OTP.

Select Enrollment for 70+ option.

Enter Aadhaar number and complete e-KYC.

Upload your photo and fill in the required information.

Submit the form.

The card will be available for download within a few minutes.

2. Apply through the official website

Go to https://pmjay.gov.in.

Login by entering mobile number and captcha.

Click on Enrollment for Senior Citizens (70+).

Enter Aadhaar number and do e-KYC through OTP or biometrics.

Fill in the required details, give consent and upload the live photo.

Once you submit, the card will be downloaded within 15-20 minutes.

How many people have applied so far?

According to government data, 65,97,096 applications have been received so far, out of which 64,96,101 have been approved. About 96,203 applications are being processed. 4,792 applications have been rejected due to various reasons. At present, only 434 cards have been distributed.

Which states received the highest number of applications?

Maximum applications have come from states like Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Gujarat and Chhattisgarh.

Under the scheme, such people will be eligible, whose age has been completed 70 years according to the Aadhar card. The number of beneficiaries of Ayushman card in the district is around 5 lakh. Apart from this, Ayushman cards are also being made for those people who have six units in their ration card i.e. the number of family members is six. Recently, the government issued an order saying that Ayushman cards will also be made for those people whose age has been completed 70 years according to the Aadhar card. Under this, the department has also started the process.

The beneficiaries said that the Ayushman card made by the Government of India for people above 70 years of age is a very good scheme. This is very good for us elderly people. Because now we are not even able to walk. Sometimes we may need money. Anything can happen for treatment at any time. Therefore, Ayushman card is proving to be a boon for us, which has been done by our Prime Minister Modi ji. This is a very commendable work. We thank him.

In this regard, CMO Dr. Awadhesh Kumar Yadav said that under the Ayushman Vaya Vandana Yojana, Ayushman cards of all senior citizens aged 70 years and above have started being made in Barabanki district. Cards of more than 1 thousand senior citizens have been made in the district, teams of the Health Department are making Ayushman cards by setting up camps in the district. The process of making Ayushman cards will continue until all senior citizens aged 70 years and above are made.

  • If your PF is deducted then you are not considered eligible for this scheme
  • Even if you are already a beneficiary of ESIC, you cannot get the benefit of Ayushman Bharat Yojana
  • People who work in the organised sector or those who pay taxes are also considered ineligible.
  • If you are financially well off or you are a government employee, then such people also cannot get Ayushman card and they are considered ineligible to avail the benefit of free treatment.

This health insurance will benefit more than 6 crore people from about 4.5 crore families. In AB PMJAY, senior citizens will be able to get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh in panel hospitals. Under AB-PMJAY, senior citizens will get a unique card. For this card, you will have to apply on the PMJAY website. Let us know the easy way to apply for Ayushman card and download it.

How to download Ayushman card

1- First of all go to https://beneficiary.nha.gov.in/ for Ayushman Bharat Scheme.

2- Select the Beneficiary option.

3- After this login with your mobile number.

4- Verify the mobile number by entering the OTP received in text message on the phone.

5- After verification you will be redirected to a new page.

6- Here you have to select the scheme for which you want to apply.

7- After selecting PMJAY scheme here, enter your state, district and sub-scheme.

8- You can check whether you are eligible for Ayushman card or not by name, location, Aadhar card, family ID or PMJAY ID.

9- After the selection, a new page will pop up. Here you can see your family history and also know whether any member of your family has registered for this scheme or not.

10- Here you will get the download option next to the name of the registered family member.

11- After clicking on this, enter your Aadhar card details and mobile number.

12- After doing this, your Ayushman card will be downloaded in the phone.

13- With the help of QR code PMJAY ID given in the card, you can avail free medical benefits.

Need these documents

If you also want to get your Ayushman card made, then apart from eligibility, it is necessary that you have a ration card. This document is necessary and your name must be in the ration card. If this is the case, then you can apply and get an Ayushman card made.

Step 1

  • If you also want to get Ayushman card, then first of all you have to install Ayushman app in your mobile

  • After this you will see a new page open on the screen

  • Then you have to click on the Identify button to create a new Ayushman card

It is reported that within a week they will start getting the benefit of coverage under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY). News agency PTI has reported quoting sources that health coverage for senior citizens of all age groups aged 70 years and above under Ayushman Bharat is expected to start within a week. About 6 crore senior citizens will benefit from this scheme.

Registration will be done on PMJAY portal or Ayushman app

The agency report said that initially, registration of elderly people will be done on an experimental basis at selected places. Then later it will be expanded across the country. Sources said that this is an ‘application’ based scheme, for which people will have to register on PMJAY portal or Ayushman app. Sources said that any person aged 70 years or above will be eligible to apply for this scheme. There is no limit on their income in this. This scheme is for the elderly of all income groups.

Those who already have Ayushman card will have to apply again

The source also said that people who already have Ayushman card will have to apply for a new card again. Along with this, they will have to complete their e-KYC again. The official source said that there is no waiting period in this. Once the e-KYC is done, the use of Ayushman card will start immediately. Apart from this, if any state wants to expand or amend this scheme of the central government, then it depends on them.

Coverage to Government Employees

The government has also said that if any senior citizen aged 70 years or above is availing benefits of other health insurance schemes like Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS), Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), Employees State Insurance Scheme (ESIS) and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), then they can also opt for this Ayushman Bharat scheme.

Health cover for those with private health insurance

If someone has taken a private health insurance policy and their age is 70 years or above, then they can also avail the benefit of Ayushman Bharat Scheme.

Coverage of elderly husband and wife in a single card

Not only this, if both the husband and wife in a family are 70 years or older, then they will also get the benefit of Ayushman Bharat Yojana. They can also avail the benefit of additional top-up of Rs 5 lakh by making Ayushman card. But, the condition in this is that separate cards will not be issued for husband and wife, the insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh will be the same for both husband and wife.

Many facilities from Ayushman card

Those who have Ayushman card can get free medical checkup as well as free treatment and consultation from the doctor. If hospitalization is required in any special situation, then they will not have to pay money. Medicines and things needed for treatment will be available for free. Laboratory tests will be free. If there is a problem in staying during treatment, then accommodation facility will also be provided. Along with accommodation, food will also be provided. After getting discharged from the hospital, care will be provided for free for a day.

Treatment of many diseases with Ayushman card

Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, major and serious diseases are treated for free. Diseases like cancer are also covered under it. Apart from this, diseases related to heart, kidney, lungs, breathing, cataract etc. are treated for free. Citizens of the country can get their treatment done for free in more than 29,000 hospitals listed in the country.

As per the eligible ration card holder beneficiaries for registration, out of the target of 9 lakh 39 thousand 886, 8 lakh 73 thousand 712 eligible beneficiaries have been registered for Ayushman card, which is 92.95 percent against the set target

For registration, a district level workshop and training was given regarding 100% Ayushman card registration of the remaining 66,174 eligible beneficiaries. In this, the entire process of registration process through mobile app for the beneficiaries to easily register themselves and all the members of their family for Ayushman card was explained through video.

These documents are needed

The process of Ayushman card registration is completely free. It is necessary to bring ration card and Aadhar card to make the card. Separate Ayushman Bharat cards will be made for all the members of the family, cards can be made for all the family members in the nearest health centers, Aadhar service centers and choice centers of your area.

Ayushman card can also be made in all Choice Centers and Government Medical College Pendri, District Hospital Basantpur, Urban Primary Health Center Shankarpur, Lakholi, Motipur, and Old Hospital Gurudwara Chowk within Rajnandgaon urban area.

These benefits are available in Ayushman Bharat Yojana

Under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, eligible BPL families can get benefits of up to 5 lakhs and APL families can get benefits of up to 50 thousand. If the insurance amount is exhausted during treatment, one can get the benefit of free treatment up to 25 lakhs under the Chief Minister Special Health Assistance Scheme.

]]> New Delhi. There is a bad news for Ayushman card holders of Haryana. Private hospitals of the state have stopped providing free treatment on Ayushman card from today. This decision has been taken after the government did not agree to some other demands including not paying the money for the treatment done on Ayushman card to the hospitals.

The Indian Medical Association has made this announcement. IMA had warned the government a few days ago that if the government did not pay the outstanding money of private hospitals, then they would stop treatment on Ayushman card from July 1.

Private hospital operators say that the government does not give money to hospitals for the treatment of Ayushman card holders for 6-6 months. Apart from this, they say that after pre-approval of the treatment expenses, deductions are made and the bills are rejected, which is wrong.

Talks with the government fail

IMA’s Karnal district head Dr. Rohit Sardana told the media that the meeting of the state level committee of IMA with the government on this matter was inconclusive. Due to this, IMA has now decided to stop treatment on Ayushman card. Around 50 private hospitals of Karnal district owe Rs 18 crore to the government. According to Rohtak IMA district head Dr. Ravindra Hooda, private hospitals of the district owe Rs 22 crore to the government. Due to non-payment of this dues, private hospitals have now stopped treatment on Ayushman card from July 1.

There is a pending amount of Rs 200 crore.

432 private hospitals in Haryana are registered to treat Ayushman card holders. On an average, 45000 patients are treated here every day. The government owes about Rs 200 crore to private hospitals. Poor people will face a lot of problems if private hospitals do not provide treatment on Ayushman card.

What should a patient do if he does not get treatment with Ayushman card?

Free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh can be availed in hospitals included in the panel of Ayushman Yojana. If the hospital refuses treatment on Ayushman card, then the patient can complain through toll free number and portal. 14555 is a national level toll free number of Ayushman Bharat Yojana. A citizen living in any state of the country can complain on this number.

The central government wants to give the benefits of this scheme to as many people as possible. Therefore, Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana was started. Under this, the rules for Ayushman Card Apply Online have been simplified. Now you can easily get your Ayushman card made from your mobile phone sitting at home.

Ayushman Cardsymbolic photo

To get Ayushman card made online, first of all you have to go to http://beneficiary.nha.gov.in . Click on the beneficiary option given here and enter your mobile number. Verify the OTP received on your mobile.

After this, you will see the option of Ration Card For Ayushman Card . Find your family name here. After this, enter the name and details of the person in whose name the card is to be made. Aadhaar number will be asked in the details. OTP will come on the mobile number linked to Aadhaar number. Verify it. A consent form will open, tick all its options and press the Allow button on the right side.

The name of the people in whose name Ayushman card is to be made will be displayed in a blue box on the screen as a beneficiary. Select the option of e-KYC Aadhaar OTP below the box. After performing Aadhaar verification, again click on the icon below Capture Photo on the right side of the page. Take a photo with the mobile camera and click on the Proceed option.

After this, check all the information given in the form once again and click on the OK button. After this, you will be able to get your Ayushman card made.

How to get Ayushman Golden Card

  • Open the link given below on the website of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana- https://bis.pmjay.gov.in/BIS/selfprintCard
  • In this, you have the option to select only Aadhaar as an option. Click on the circle just before it.
  • As soon as you click on Aadhaar , 3 boxes open in front of you, in which you will have to fill some information.
    • Scheme *: In this you have to select the option of PMJAY. (This option is available for normal citizens)
    • Select State *: In this you have to select the name of your state, as we have selected UTTAR PRADESH.
    • Aadhaar Number / Virtual ID *: Here you have to enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number. If you want to keep the Aadhaar number confidential, then you can enter Virtual ID .
    • You have to tick the box like this. It is your consent that your Aadhaar number may be used as eKYC and the details entered in your Aadhaar may be taken for verification here. In English it is written like this- The beneficiary has no objection to provide Aadhaar Number for fetching eKYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) Details from UIDAI database for AB-NHPM.
    • Generate OTP : Finally, click on this button at the bottom.
  • Enter OTP: An OTP number will be sent by SMS on the mobile number registered in your Aadhaar card. Drop it in the space provided. After this , verify by clicking on the button of Verify .
  • The details entered in your Ayushman card will appear on the screen and there will also be an option to download it.
  • Download your Ayushman card by clicking on Ayushman Card Download . You can also save it on your computer or mobile.

How to check your name in Ayushman Yojana?

Note: There is no separate process to register for Ayushman Bharat Scheme. But you can definitely check your name. Its process is as follows-

  • Go to the website of Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Its link is-

  • On the homepage, you will see a question mark  (?)  logo on the right side, with a capital E (E) in the background. If you move the cursor on it,  ‘Am I Eligible’  will appear. Click on it.
  • There will be two empty boxes in front of you. In the first you have to enter your mobile number and in the second the CAPTCHA code. After this  click on Generate OTP  .
  • 6 digit  OTP  number will come on your mobile. Put it in the OTP box and give consent by ticking the empty box before a declaration below. Then   click on Submit .
  • Now select your state name from the dropdown list. Now you will get the option to check your name on the basis of some options. These options are-
    • with the help of your name
    • With the help of HHD number (HHD number or Household Id number is a unique number, which is given to families after the SECC census.)
    • With the help of ration card number
    • by mobile number
  • If your family is included in the beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat Scheme, then your name will appear in one of these ways.

]]> PMJAY-MA Yojana- Health scheme was launched by the central government in the year 2012 for the families coming below the poverty line (BPL). Under this, health cover up to Rs 2 lakh is provided by the government to the families living below the poverty line.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the distribution of Ayushman cards under the PMJAY-MA scheme in Gujarat. PM Modi also spoke to the beneficiaries through video conferencing during the program organized in Ahmedabad. 50 lakh Ayushman cards have been printed in Gujarat and soon all the cards will be given to the beneficiaries. This health scheme was launched in the year 2012 for below poverty line families (BPL). Under this, health cover up to Rs 2 lakh is provided by the government to the families living below the poverty line.

In order to provide health facilities to the economically weaker section, the PMJAY scheme of the Center was merged with Gujarat’s Chief Minister Amrutam (MA) and Mukhyamantri Amrutam Vatsalya (MAV) scheme in the year 2019. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel also attended the card distribution ceremony. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya virtually participated in it. According to the government, Ayushman Bharat-PMJAY is the world’s largest health insurance scheme, in which every family gets a health cover of up to Rs 5 lakh.

PM Kisan’s 12th installment has been released today,

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has transferred 2000 rupees to the bank accounts of 10 crore farmers of the country on Monday. This is the 12th installment (PM Kisan Yojana 12th Installment) to be received under PM Kisan Yojana. The 11th installment of the scheme was released in May this year at a function held in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh.

Today, the Prime Minister inaugurated the PM Kisan Samman Sammelan at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute in New Delhi. Under the PM Kisan Yojana, the central government gives 6 thousand rupees to the farmers in a year. This amount is given every four months in installments of 2-2 thousand rupees. The money is directly sent to the bank account of the beneficiary farmer.

Now you will see CSC wallet, enter your password in it.

Now enter the pin here and go to the home page.

Now you will see the option of Download Card.

more than 50 lakh beneficiaries

Ayushman PVC cards (made from polyvinyl chloride material which can be easily carried) are to be distributed to over 50 lakh beneficiaries under PMJAY-MA scheme in Gujarat. The Centre’s PMJAY scheme to provide health facilities to the economically weaker sections was integrated with Gujarat’s ‘Mukhyamantri Amrutam’ (MA) and ‘Mukhyamantri Amrutam Vatsalya’ (MAV) health schemes in 2019. As a result of this all the beneficiaries of state schemes are eligible to get PMJAY-MA card.

The Gujarat government said that after the integration of the two schemes, PMJAY-MA cards were issued to 1.58 crore beneficiaries in Gujarat. Since September 2021, more than 50 lakh cards have been issued under the leadership of the Chief Minister. These beneficiaries will be given newly printed Ayushman PVC cards. According to the government website, health insurance up to Rs 5 lakh per family is provided under the world’s largest health insurance scheme ‘Ayushman Bharat-PMJAY’.

]]> Ayushman Cards Change! Ayushman card is going to have some important changes. The Ministry of Health has given information in this regard. The Ayushman cards will be linked to the flagship health scheme of the Center as well as the logo of the state and the names of state-specific health schemes. That is, as a co-brand.

Under this change, except Delhi, West Bengal and Odisha, all other states and union territories have given consent for co-branding of cards. After its implementation, its name will be changed to ‘Ayushman Card’. The National Health Authority (NHA) is working to streamline the beneficiary cards issued under the scheme. At the same time, it has been decided to bring more ‘integrity and uniformity’ in it.

Ministry has said in a statement that this card will be bilingual, in English and local language. In this new card, both Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) and state-specific people will have ‘equal space allotted’. In this, along with ABPM-JAY, the name of the state scheme will also be there.

Why the change is happening

The ministry has said that behind this change, our aim is to bring more uniformity in this card by working with the states. The statement said that the NHA is in constant touch with the states to issue co-branded cards. Barring a few, most states have adopted co-branding guidelines.

  • So far 14.12 crore Ayushman cards have been issued under this scheme. Under this scheme, about 18.81 crore persons have been verified till August 17.
  • Beneficiaries will get full financial assistance from the Center for issuance of co-branded cards. The Health Ministry said that the authority will provide full financial assistance under the central scheme as well as the state scheme.
  • Under Ayushman, health coverage up to Rs 5 lakh is provided annually to the beneficiary family. It provides benefits of 1,949 treatment procedures.
