Aadhar Card: If you have not updated your Aadhar card information yet, then now you have less time left for this. You can change your address, name or date of birth in Aadhar. You can complete this work from your home in two minutes.

The good thing is that you can do all this work for free. Common people can do this work till 14 September 2024. According to the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), there will be no charge for updating the Aadhar card till September 14.

Aadhaar card is a 12 digit unique identification number based on biometric and demographic information. UIDAI has issued a new Aadhaar card for those who have not updated it even after 10 years of Aadhaar issuance. Submit your identity and address proof.

How to update Aadhaar details online:

Visit the UIDAI website www.uidai.gov.in and select your preferred language.

Click on ‘My Aadhaar’ option and select ‘Update Your Aadhaar’ from the menu.

After this, users will be redirected to the ‘Update Aadhaar Details (Online)’ page. Then click on ‘Document Update’.

After reaching the page, users have to enter their UID number and captcha code. Then click on ‘Send OTP’, and users will receive a one-time password on their registered mobile number.

After entering the OTP, click on ‘Login’.

Users need to select the demographic details they want to update (like name, address, date of birth, etc.) and fill in the new information correctly.

After making the required changes, users have to click on ‘Submit’ and upload the scanned copies of the required documents.

Finally, click on ‘Submit Update Request’. Users will then receive an Update Request Number (URN) via SMS to track the status of the request.

Your biometric information, such as iris scans, fingerprints and facial photos, cannot be updated in online updates. Also, the facility to change date of birth and gender is provided only once.

How to update offline:

If you want to update the information offline, download the Aadhaar enrolment form from the UIDAI website. Fill it and submit it along with the required documents at your nearest Aadhaar enrolment centre or Aadhaar Seva Kendra. Your biometric information will be collected, and you will receive an Update Request Number (URN), using which you can track the status of your update.

Aadhar Card Update: These days many types of news are going on social media regarding Aadhar card. Especially on Instagram reels, and YouTube shots, this news is becoming increasingly viral that if your Aadhar card has not been updated for 10 years, then after June 14 it will become useless or will be closed.

In such a situation, this question must have come to your mind whether you will be able to use your Aadhar card after June 14 or not? First of all, let us tell you that there is no need for you to worry, because there is no truth in this news. Let us know where the talk of June 14 regarding Aadhar card has come from?

Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has given information about updating Aadhaar card many times. According to which, if you have not updated your Aadhaar card for 10 years (Aadhaar Card Update Online), then UIDAI is providing the facility of updating Aadhaar card for free. You can go to UIDAI portal and update Aadhaar card for free till 14th June.

Also Read: Bank of Baroda revised the interest on FD, check the latest interest rate

If you want to update your Aadhaar card, you can do this by visiting UIDAI’s website or Aadhaar center. However, for this you will not have to pay any charge on the UIDAI portal. But the free service of updating Aadhaar (Update Aadhaar online) is available only on the UIDAI portal. But if you go to the Aadhaar center and get your Aadhaar card updated, then you will have to pay Rs 50 as a fee.

If you want to update your 10-year-old Aadhaar card for free, then get this work done as soon as possible. Because after the deadline of June 14 (Aadhaar Card Update Deadline), you may have to pay money for this.

However, UIDAI has also clarified that even after June 14, the 10-year old Aadhaar card is not going to be discontinued. It can be used as before. Only you will not get the facility to update the Aadhaar card for free after June 14. You should not pay any attention to these viral news.

The rules have been changed by UIDAI. Yes, from now on the date of birth written on Aadhar card will not be valid for date of birth in any document. It will be necessary to present the birth certificate along with the relevant documents. Only after this the related documents and applications will be valid.

The new system has been implemented from December 1. An order in this regard has been given by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). This step has been taken to prevent fraud by changing date of birth in Aadhaar by changing date, month and year etc. Even for the newly created Aadhaar, information about not using it as the date of birth is also being mentioned on the Aadhaar card. Information regarding this will be written on downloading the new Aadhar card.

It is necessary to present the birth certificate for verification.

After the new system, you will have to present the birth certificate along with the Aadhar card. Rakesh Verma, Deputy Director of Aadhaar Project, said that with the new rules, Aadhaar will be used as a mere identity document everywhere, whether it is admission in school or college or making a passport. It will be necessary to present the birth certificate for verification of date of birth.

By repeatedly changing the date of birth and name in Aadhaar, people were committing fraud to avail benefits of various schemes including pension scheme, admission, sports competition etc. However, strict action was taken several times by UIDAI. But could not achieve success in this. After this, changes have been made in it.

It is noteworthy that the Aadhaar project was started in 2009. Later, Aadhaar card was considered as a unique identity card and linked to all the facilities. One who did not have Aadhar card cannot avail the benefits of government facilities.

What will be difficult

After the change in the rules, a big question has arisen after the date of birth recorded in Aadhaar is not recognized. The question is, what will happen to all kinds of schemes including pension and such works where people do not have any birth certificate?

There are a large number of people who do not have any kind of certificate related to age. Currently, most of the schemes are linked to Jan Aadhar and it can be made only through Aadhar card.

Now changing the address in Aadhaar card has become very easy for such people, who do not have any valid documents of that place. Aadhaar card holders can now update their address online with the consent of the Head of the Family (HOF). Aadhaar holders can now change their address online with the consent of the head of their household, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) said on Tuesday.

Will be helpful for

The HOF-based online address update in Aadhaar will be of great help to the relatives (children), spouse, parents etc. of a resident who do not have supporting documents in their own name to update the address in their Aadhaar. With people moving to cities and towns within the country for various reasons, such a facility would be beneficial for lakhs of people.

New feature addition

The new option to update address is in addition to the existing address update facility using any valid proof of address prescribed by UIDAI. Any resident above the age of 18 years can be a HOF for this purpose and can share his/her address with his/her relatives through this process.

Have to pay the fee

Residents will have to pay a fee of ₹50 for the service. On successful payment, a Service Request Number (SRN) will be shared with the resident and an SMS will be sent to the HOF regarding the address request. The HOF has to accept the request and give its consent by logging into the MyAadhaar portal within 30 days from the date of receipt of the notification. After this the request will be processed.

Application can also be canceled like this

If the HOF refuses to share his or her address or does not accept or reject within the prescribed 30 days of SRN generation, the request will be closed. The resident, who wishes to update the address through this option, will be informed about the closure of the request through an SMS. If the request is closed or rejected due to rejection of the HOF or rejected during processing, the amount will not be refunded to the applicant.

The post UIDAI has started this service, Changing address online in Aadhaar has become easier first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.

UIDAI Update: Now you can easily verify which mobile number and email ID is linked with your Aadhaar. UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) has announced to start a new facility for citizens, in which residents will be able to verify their mobile number and email ID.

In fact, these things had come to the notice of UIDAI that Aadhaar card holders do not know which mobile number is linked with their Aadhaar. In such a situation, citizens are worried that the OTP coming on Aadhaar is not going to any other mobile number. But due to this facility of UIDAI, Aadhaar holders will be able to easily check which mobile number is linked with their Aadhaar.

To verify the mobile number and email ID, one has to visit the official website of UIDAI https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in or mAadhaar app and click on verify email/mobile number. With this, citizens will be able to know which mobile number or email ID is linked with their Aadhaar. If any other number is linked with Aadhaar, it can be easily traced and Aadhaar card holders will be able to update their numbers.

If the mobile is already verified then a message will appear that the mobile number entered is already verified in our records. If a citizen does not know which mobile number he/she had given during enrollment for Aadhaar, then he/she can verify it by entering the last three digits of the mobile number by visiting the Myaadhaar portal or mAadhaar app and going to the Verify Aadhaar feature.

If citizens want to link or update email or mobile number with their Aadhaar, then they have to visit the Aadhaar center.

Under the agreement, a robust touchless biometric capture system will be developed for easy use by people anytime, anywhere.

Along with this, UIDAI and IIT Bombay will also jointly conduct research to create a mobile capture system for fingerprints with liveness model associated with the capture system.

Will allow authentication from home

The touchless biometric capture system, once developed and commissioned, will enable home based facial authentication as well as fingerprint authentication. The Indian Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology said that it is expected that the new system will capture multiple fingerprints in one go and help in achieving the authentication success rate. Once the new system is implemented, the existing facilities available in the Aadhaar ecosystem will be augmented.

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has launched the Head of Family service for citizens. Through this, Aadhaar users will be able to make online corrections in the address registered in their Aadhaar through their Aadhaar document with the consent of the head of the family.

Aadhaar’s Head of Family Service will benefit such people, who do not have complete documents of their own. Aadhaar card is the most important document of identity of the citizen. All the information of the user is entered in the base. But, many times people do not have their documents, due to which they face difficulty in entering those information like address etc. in Aadhaar.

In such a situation, those Aadhaar users can get rid of this problem by using Head of Family Service. Head of family service can be availed by submitting documents related to proof of relationship like ration card, mark sheet, marriage certificate, passport etc. But it is necessary that the name of the applicant and the head of the family and the relationship between them should be mentioned in it.

Due to various reasons, this facility has been started for people who have to shift to cities and towns for work or any other reason. This option will be in addition to the facility of correction of existing address using any valid address proof prescribed by UIDAI. Any resident above the age of 18 years can be a Head of Family for this purpose and can share his address with his relatives through this process.

how to improve online

Citizen can choose the Head of Family option while making online correction of address in ‘My Aadhaar’ portal (https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in).

The resident will then be allowed to enter the Aadhaar number of the Head of Family (HOF), which only needs to be confirmed.

To maintain adequate confidentiality of the Head of Family (HOF), no other information on the basis of the HOF will be displayed on the screen.

After the verification of the Aadhaar number of the HOF, the citizen will have to upload the proof of relationship and pay Rs 50 per cent for the same.

On successful payment a Service Request Number (SRN) will be shared with the citizen and an SMS linked to the address request will be sent to the HOF.

The HOF will have to give its consent within 30 days from the date of receipt of the intimation by logging into the My Aadhaar portal and thereafter any action will be taken on the request.

Denial of Head of Family will be difficult.

According to Aadhaar Authority, the applicant has to note that if the HOF refuses to share his address or does not accept or deny the same within 30 days from the date of issue of SRN, the request may be closed. Will be done.

The citizen trying to update the address through this option will be informed about the closure of the request through an SMS. If the request is closed or rejected due to non-approval of the HOF, the amount will not be refunded to the applicant.

Aadhaar Update Guideline: According to the new rule, it will be mandatory to update Aadhaar once in 10 years. For this, UIDAI, the authority of Aadhaar, has issued new guidelines. The new rule states that the proof of identity and address proof will have to be updated in Aadhaar.

The government has issued a new order regarding updation in Aadhar card. For this, some amendments have been made in the rules of Aadhaar. This amendment has been named the Aadhaar (Enrolment and Update) (10th Amendment) Regulations, 2022. The government has issued a notification of this amendment. According to the new rule, now it will be mandatory for you to update the Aadhar card once in 10 years.

You have to update Proof of Identity and Address Proof. The government has made it mandatory to update Aadhaar by issuing guidelines. According to the amendment, on completion of 10 years from the day the enrollment for the Aadhaar number was made, the Aadhaar cardholder will have to update the Aadhaar at least once by submitting a proof of identity and proof of address.

In this regard, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the agency of Aadhaar, has said that those who have got the Aadhaar card made 10 years ago and have not updated it even once, should submit it with their identity card and address proof. Updating is necessary.

Why would you have to update Aadhaar?

According to the new rule, it will be mandatory to update Aadhaar once in 10 years. For this, UIDAI, the authority of Aadhaar, has issued new guidelines. The new rule states that the proof of identity and address proof will have to be updated in Aadhaar. So far, Aadhar cards have been made for 135 crore people in the country. The government started making Aadhar cards in 2010. The old addresses have become invalid due to the change of state of many people in 12 years. The old addresses of people living in rented houses have become invalid. Service delivery will stop if Aadhaar is not updated.

Change in base rule

According to the UIDAI, in the last 10 years, the Aadhaar number has emerged as the most robust identity proof of the person, which is being used today for many important tasks. With the help of Aadhaar in government schemes, many benefits are available. Its role in banking service has also become important. For continuous, uninterrupted benefits of schemes and services, Aadhaar number needs to be updated. If the Aadhaar documents are updated, then there will be no problem in the authentication or verification of the Aadhaar number.

Update aadhar card like this

UIDAI has given complete information about updating Aadhaar and its fee. The agency says that the facility to update any document in the Aadhaar number is provided with a fixed fee. The type of update that the cardholder wants to make in Aadhaar can be done by paying a fee. In the Aadhaar number, the cardholder can update the Proof of Personal Identity (POI) and Proof of Address (POA) documents in the Aadhaar data. This facility can be availed online on My Aadhaar Portal (https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/). Residents can also visit any nearest enrollment center to avail this facility.

Aadhaar Update- Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is working continuously to prevent any kind of misuse of Aadhaar card. UIDAI is also canceling the wrongly generated Aadhar card.

Aadhaar has become a very important document for every Indian today. Aadhaar has now become mandatory for almost every important work. Therefore, from time to time, Aadhaar should be verified from the database of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). Important information related to a person on Aadhar card like date of birth, address and mobile number etc. Therefore, it should also be checked at regular intervals whether your Aadhaar details match with the information available in the database of UIDAI.

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is working continuously to prevent any misuse of Aadhar card. UIDAI is also canceling the wrongly generated Aadhar card. UIDAI has canceled millions of wrongly generated Aadhaar cards. If you too have not checked for a long time whether your Aadhaar is active or not, then you should also do this work soon.

Why is it necessary to verify Aadhaar?

The Unique Identification Authority of India says that officials and citizens must verify the Aadhaar number before accepting it as an identity card. When the Aadhaar user will verify it, only then he will know whether his Aadhaar is active or inactive. Also, if any wrong information related to the users is entered in the Aadhaar, then it will also be known.

How to do Aadhaar Verification Verifying

your Aadhaar is very easy. You can do this work sitting at home. Let us know how to verify Aadhaar –

First of all go to UIDAI website www.uidai.gov.in.

Click on ‘Verify Aadhaar (AADHAAR) number’ under ‘Aadhaar Services’ on the website. By doing this a new page will open.

On the new page, enter your 12 digit Aadhaar (AADHAAR) number and captcha.

If the Aadhaar number is genuine, the website will show the message ‘Aadhaar Verification Complete’. Also other details will be shown. Like your age, your state name and last three digits of your mobile number etc.

Aadhaar Card Fraud: Aadhar Card has become the most important and important document in India. Whether to open an account in a bank or take advantage of any government scheme, you have to give Aadhaar card for many important works. Aadhar card has now become a very important document not only for elders but also for children. Along with the increasing need for Aadhaar, the risk of financial fraud or fraud through it is also increasing. UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India), the government agency that issues Aadhaar cards, has advised people to be careful about frauds from Aadhaar.

Don’t forget to delete e-Aadhaar from computer after downloading

UIDAI has advised people not to use internet cafes, kiosks or any other public computers to download e-Aadhaar. If you have no other option but to use a public computer to download e-Aadhaar, then take special care that the computer on which you have downloaded e-Aadhaar, do not leave the file in the computer and make it work.

#BewareOfFraudsters
To download an e-Aadhaar please avoid using a public computer at an internet café/kiosk.
However, if you do, then it is highly recommended to delete all the downloaded copies of #eAadhaar. pic.twitter.com/TWBakmyZmS

Delete immediately after completion. Here you also have to keep in mind that after deleting the e-Aadhaar copy, also delete it from the Recycle Bin so that there is no scope for its misuse.

Can your bank account be hacked with your 12 digit aadhaar number?

Due to the increasing cases of fraud, many types of questions are being raised in the minds of people regarding the use of Aadhaar. People want to know whether anyone’s bank account can be hacked through 12 digit aadhaar number? Responding to this question of the people, UIDAI said that even if a person gets the 12 digit number of your Aadhar card, then he cannot hack your bank account with this number only.

Despite this, if you want to make your Aadhaar card more secure, then you can also use Masked Aadhaar. Let us tell you that in Masked Aadhaar, the first 8 digits of your 12 digit Aadhaar number are hidden and only the last 4 digits are visible.

The post UIDAI issued a warning for Aadhaar Card holders, if you make a mistake, you can get caught in a big problem first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.

Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS) is a bank based model. In this, money transactions are done using Aadhaar based biometric authentication. In this, the bank customer can use the fingerprint for transactions in his Aadhaar linked bank account.

No fraudulent transactions can be done with Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS). Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has added a new security feature in AEPS. This new feature called ‘Fingerprint liveliness’ is helpful in preventing fake fingerprints to withdraw money through AEPS. UIDAI has launched a new feature after reports of financial frauds using fingerprints made on silicon pads.

Aadhaar Enabled Payment System is a bank based model. In this, money transactions are done using Aadhaar based biometric authentication. In this, the bank customer can do things like cash deposit, cash withdrawal, intrabank and inter bank cash transfer and balance enquiry through business correspondence on his Aadhaar linked bank account.

Accurate fingerprint recognition

cnbctv18.com According to a report by The Economic Times, an official was quoted as saying that this new security feature has been introduced in AEPS point-of-sale machines through a software upgrade. With this, the PoS will know whether the fingerprint being used is of a living person or not. Since AEPS has been enabled, more than 1,507 crore banking transactions have taken place so far. Of these, 7.54 lakh fraudulent transactions have taken place through this system. The new security feature has been added after several reports of misuse of AEPS across the country.

To curb illegal transactions Shams Tabrez, Founder and CEO of EasyPay, said that the new security feature will help in tracking fraudulent fingerprints and illegal transactions. This will ensure better authentication and security. There have been many incidents of forgery and fraud in recent times. According to Tabrez, at present, the government has about 50 lakh Aadhaar enabled PoS machines in the country.

Fraud is happening like this For some time, there were reports of financial transactions from Aadhaar enabled payment system using someone else’s fingerprint. Investigation revealed that the fraudsters had copied the fingerprints of the people from the land records uploaded on the government website. These were then engraved on the silicon pad, people’s bank accounts were breached.

The post Aadhar Update: Now Aadhar linked payment system and safe, with this new feature, money will not be withdrawn from Fake Fingerprint first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.

Aadhaar Update: At present, Aadhar card has become the most important document and now preparations have started to increase its scope. In this connection, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the government agency of Aadhaar, has asked the states to increase the government coverage in their respective states, so that the wastage of government money is reduced.

For this, the government has started a new initiative. Under this, UIDAI will encourage people to update their Aadhaar and biometric details every 10 years. However, UIDAI has also said that doing this is not a compulsion for anyone but advice. UIDAI also says that this will put a check on fake basis and the data of the people will also be completely safe.

Will update as per your wish

UIDAI said in its notification that every 10 years any person can update the biometrics and demographic details of their choice. Although this is not a rule yet, it is just advice. As per the existing rules, children in the age group of 5-15 years are allowed to update their biometric data. Let us inform that a person above 70 years of age will not need to update his biometric details.

Updates can be done from Aadhar center

If you also want to update your Aadhar card, then you can do it by visiting the nearest Aadhar center. Apart from this, to prevent misuse of Aadhaar, UIDAI recommends locking it. This is a special feature in which the Aadhaar number is temporarily locked and unlocked. With this, all the data of the card holder remains safe and confidentiality is maintained.

Aadhaar has been made for more than 90% of the youth

Talking about the government figures, 79 lakh have been enrolled in the country between April and July in the 0-5 year financial year. Apart from this, 2.64 crore children above the age of 5 years had child Aadhar till 31 March 2022. However, this figure increased to 3.43 crore in July. Apart from this, so far 93.41 percent of the people above the age of 18 years have been made Aadhar card in the country.

The post Aadhaar Big Update: There will be a big change in Aadhaar, biometrics can be updated every 10 years first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.
