You will have to pay a fee for updating Aadhaar details by going to the offline Aadhaar center. To avail the free facility, go to MyAadhaar portal. On updating Aadhaar through this portal, you will get the facility to update Aadhaar for free.

Know how to update Aadhaar for free-

1. For this you visit the MyAadhaar portal or the official website of Aadhaar https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/.
2. If you want to update the address, then select the option of Update Address.
3. After this enter your registered mobile number and proceed by entering OTP.
4. After this you will have to click on the option of Update your Documents. After this, the existing details entered in Aadhaar will appear in front of you.
5. Verify these details and proceed.
6. After this you have to upload the address proof for address proof.
7. After this, finally your Aadhaar update will be accepted.
8. After the Aadhaar update is accepted, a 14 digit Update Request Number (URN) will be generated for you.
9.Through this you can track Aadhaar updates.
