Counter Ticket Online Cancellation: What are the rules
Railway passengers can book their train tickets in two formats – online and offline. Online train ticket booking requires the passenger to have a user ID. On the other hand, for the offline mode, the passenger needs to visit the railway station and buy the ticket from dedicated counters. PRS counters are open from 8 AM to 8 PM every day except weekends. However, the working hours vary from place to place. IRCTC tickets or online train tickets are slightly more expensive than counter tickets.
