Today Weather Alert: Relief from extreme heat is coming soon. The Meteorological Department said that East India and coastal areas are under the influence of pre-monsoon activity.

Due to this, heavy rain warning has been issued in many parts of eastern states. People have been advised to be careful before leaving their homes.

The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of rain in many states of eastern India today, including thunderstorms. The department said that the weather is likely to worsen till May 5. After this, we may have to face severe heat. This will affect the entire north India. The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of intense heat wave in Saurashtra and Kutch of Gujarat. Also, the Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of heatwave in some parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and eastern Rajasthan. An orange alert has been issued for heat wave in Gujarat.

The Meteorological Department said that between April 24-27, the temperature in Delhi remained above 41 degrees. This was the hottest week of this month. The temperature decreased slightly after the 28th. Still, it was higher than normal. Today, i.e. on April 30, the mercury is expected to remain slightly below 40 degrees.

Along with this, there is a possibility of some relief from the heat due to strong winds. In the early days of May, the temperature may remain between 35 and 37 degrees Celsius, which is some relief for the people of Delhi in May. The Meteorological Department said that the western disturbance is likely to reach Delhi on May 1. Its effect can be seen in Delhi and surrounding states such as East Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh.

The weather is going to get worse…

The Meteorological Department said that the weather is likely to worsen in the eastern states. There is a possibility of rain with strong winds and lightning. Weather conditions in Peninsular India

The Meteorological Department said that light to moderate rains with thunder, lightning and strong winds are likely over Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal for the next 7 days. Winds reaching a speed of 50-60 kmph are likely over North Interior Karnataka on 02 and 03 May.

Rain in the Northeast

Along with this, winds gusting up to 40-50 kmph, light to moderate rainfall are likely over Northeast India. Heavy rainfall is likely over Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya.
