Dust storms are expected especially in Rajasthan, while Akola in Maharashtra was the hottest city in the country with 44.9 degrees Celsius. Weather Update: Danger of dust storm in Rajasthan

Dust storms accompanied by strong winds are expected in many parts of Rajasthan. The IMD has warned that winds may blow at a speed of 40-50 kmph, which may reduce visibility. People in cities like Jaipur, Jodhpur and Bikaner have been advised to take precautions. People with respiratory problems due to dust need to take special care.

Rain expected in MP and Uttar Pradesh

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunderstorms in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. The weather may be pleasant in cities like Bhopal, Indore, Lucknow and Kanpur. However, strong winds may also blow in some areas. For farmers, this rain can be beneficial for crops, but there is a need to be cautious of thunderstorms.

Heavy rain warning in Bengal and Kerala

Heavy rains are expected in West Bengal and Kerala. Flood-like situation may arise in Kolkata and Thiruvananthapuram due to heavy rains. IMD has advised fishermen not to go into the sea. Schools and colleges may remain closed in these states.

Scorching heat in Akola

Akola in Maharashtra was the hottest city in the country with a temperature of 44.9 degrees Celsius. Nagpur and Aurangabad also continue to reel under heat. People have been advised to avoid going out in the afternoon and stay hydrated.
