Light rain and yellow warning on April 18 According to the Meteorological Department, light rain is likely in all districts of the state on April 18. A yellow warning has been issued for thunder and lightning, especially in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Tehri, Dehradun and Pauri districts. The speed of the storm on this day can reach 40 kmph.
Highest risk on April 19, orange alert issued. Heavy rain is likely to occur across Uttarakhand on April 19. The speed of the storm on this day can reach up to 70 km per hour. Along with this, there is also a possibility of hailstorm and lightning in many districts. The Meteorological Department has declared an orange alert across the state for this day.
There will be another disaster on April 20, there will be no relief on April 20 either. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for US Nagar and Haridwar, and an orange alert for the remaining 11 districts. There is a possibility of heavy rain, thunderstorm and lightning on this day too.
Caution is necessary, the administration is vigilant. The administration has appealed to the people not to go out unnecessarily during these three days and to pay attention to the weather updates. Farmers have also been advised to be vigilant to protect their crops from damage.
