Chandigarh: Monsoon has entered Punjab. A warning of heavy rain has been issued in Punjab and Haryana including Chandigarh for the next 4 to 5 days.
Director of the Meteorological Department Surendra Pal said that according to the Meteorological Department, monsoon will cover some more parts of Punjab in the next two days. The department has issued a warning of heavy rain accompanied by strong thunderstorms at many places in Punjab for the next six days from Tuesday. An orange warning of very heavy rain has been issued during this period, especially for June 25.

Giving further information in this regard, the Director of the Meteorological Department said that after 2 days, the monsoon will cover all the districts of Punjab and Haryana including Chandigarh and this time the monsoon is going to be very active and very heavy rain is also expected.
