7th Pay Commission DA Hike: If you are also a government employee, then this news will make you happy. Recently, an announcement has been made by the central government to increase the dearness allowance of the central employees.

Now on the same lines, different state governments are increasing the dearness allowance. Now the dearness allowance of Jharkhand government employees can be increased. On the lines of the Centre, a proposal for DA hike has been prepared in the state as well. A proposal has been prepared by the Finance Department to transfer the dearness allowance of state employees to the Centre.

DA expected to be 42 percent

A decision on this has to be taken in the cabinet meeting of the state government. If the government agrees to increase the dearness allowance of the employees, then it is expected to increase to 42 percent. Right now the state government employees are getting 38 percent DA, in which it is expected to increase by 4 percent. The DA hike will come into effect from January 1, 2023, after a decision on this is taken by the government.

There will be an additional burden of Rs 45 crore.

An official said that this decision will benefit 19,300 lakh employees and pensioners. The increase in DA will put an additional burden of about Rs 45 crore on the state government. Due to the increase in DA, the employees working under the state government will benefit from Rs 500 to Rs 9000. DA of pensioners and family pensioners will also be increased..

Recently increased DA of central employees

Modi government has recently decided to increase DA and DR of central employees by 4 percent. After this increase, about one crore employees and pensioners will be directly benefited. After this, the DA of the employees has increased from 38 percent to 42 percent.
