This means that the government is going to get 38% DA money for all central employees.  What is fitment factor If you or any of your relatives are working for a central employee, then you must have heard about the fitment factor.

But many of you must have wondered at some point of time that what is the fitment factor. So let us tell you that the basic salary of the employees is increased only through the fitment factor. Talking about the fitment factor now, if it is increased from 2.57 to 3.68, then the basic salary of all central employees, which used to be ₹ 18000, will be increased to ₹ 26000. In simple words, if this is implemented, then the basic salary of central employees will increase by ₹ 8000.

What is Dearness allowance

Dearness allowance is provided by the government to all government employees to improve their standard of living. The main reason for this is that the government does not want that the rising inflation should have any effect on the living conditions of the central employees. Second biggest increase in 2 years 6 months In reality, there has been a significant increase in DA, different from the inflation figures.   • All central employees will get this gift on the auspicious occasion of Navratri. Its payment will also start from 30 September. All central employees will also be provided aerial for two months on payment from September.
  • In this, the arrears of July and August have also been included in this. That is, this 2 months arrears can also be received in this time period.

How Dearness Allowance is calculated

As the news is coming out from the side of media reports that the next installment of DA is expected to be provided along with the salary of September. It is very easy to guess how dearness allowance is calculated. It is calculated on the basic pay after the increase of up to 4% over the dearness allowance. For example, if the salary of an employee is ₹ 20000, then his salary will be increased by ₹ 800 in 1 month at the rate of 4%.

How much will the salary be increased

As is in the headlines, there can be a huge increase in the pay of the officer grade. If the basic salary of an employee is ₹ 31550 paper, then its calculation will be as follows.

  • Estimated Dearness Allowance (Given) 38% = ₹11998 per month
  • Existing Dearness Allowance (Given) 34% = ₹10727 per month
