The fitment factor was increased in 2016
The Seventh Pay Commission was implemented in 2016 itself. Along with this, the fitment factor was also increased. Earlier the basic salary of the employees was 6 thousand rupees, but it was increased to 18 thousand rupees per month. Once again there is a demand to increase it. If it increases then the basic salary can be up to Rs.35 thousand.
