7th Pay Commission Latest News: Dearness Allowance (DA Hike) of the employees is to be increased once again by the Central Government. The increased dearness allowance will be applicable from July 1.

Actually, along with increasing Dearness Allowance from the government side, other allowances also increase. Employees and pensioners will start getting its benefits from July 2023. However, no announcement has been made regarding this yet.

There will also be a jump in PF and Gratuity

The allowances that the employees will get from July 1 include Travel Allowance and City Allowance. Apart from this, there will also be a rise in Provident Fund and Gratuity due to increase in dearness allowance. The dearness allowance of the employees is expected to increase from 42 to 46 per cent. Experts say that the increase in DA
will also affect the Travel Allowance (TA).

Employees and pensioners will have fun.

Central employees are also expected to get retirement benefits. With the increase in DA, their salary, provident fund and gratuity will also increase. Actually, PF and Gratuity is calculated on the basis of Basic Salary + Dearness Allowance. With the increase in DA, these allowances are sure to increase. After this change, not only the employees but also the pensioners will have fun. This
will change their Dearness Relief (DR).

Dearness relief is expected to increase to 46 percent.

Dearness relief is also linked with dearness allowance. After the retirement of the employee, it is available as Dearness Relief. Dearness relief is also expected to increase from 42 percent to 46 percent. This will increase the monthly pension of the employees. The DA hike can be announced from September. But this meeting will start from 1st July. Till now no information has been given by the government regarding this.
