Air India News: Tata Group’s airline Air India Group announced that amid the growing tension between India and Pakistan, army personnel will not have to pay any charge for canceling or rescheduling flight tickets.
This facility has been provided for tickets till June 30, 2025. This means that if army personnel cancel or reschedule their flight tickets for air travel till June 30, they will get a full refund, that is, there will be no deduction. This facility will be available for flights of both Air India and Air India Express.
Air India tweeted the information
Air India tweeted on Wednesday midnight on X (formerly Twitter) that it is grateful for the selfless service and dedication of military and defense personnel. Air India further wrote that in the current atmosphere of tension between India and Pakistan, military personnel and defense personnel, who have booked on Air India and Air India Express flights till 31 May 2025, are being offered full refund on cancellation of tickets and rescheduling of flights till 30 June 2025 to support their duty commitments.

About Operation Sindoor
Last month on 22nd April, for the first time, a terrorist attack took place on tourists in Pahalgam. In this attack, 26 people were killed, out of which 25 were Indians and one was a Nepali citizen.
