Legislative Rift: Punjab Cabinet Summoned Over Sacrilege Bill
Compounding the crisis for the ruling government, the Akal Takht has issued an unprecedented directive summoning the entire Punjab Cabinet to appear before the temporal seat on June 29.
The collective summons stems from the unilateral passage of the Jaagat Jot Sri Guru Granth Sahib Satkar (Amendment) Bill, 2026.
