The festival of Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated across the country on Saturday, June 7, 2025. On this day, banks will remain closed in cities like Agartala, Aizawl, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Chennai, Guwahati, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Imphal, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Panaji, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla and Srinagar.
This day is also the first Saturday, but due to the holiday of Bakrid (Bank Holiday on Bakrid 2025), it will be an additional holiday.
8 June 2025 (Bank Holiday On June 8)
All banks will remain closed across the country as Sunday is a weekly holiday every week.
3 day long weekend: Bank users should be cautious
The special thing for bank users this week is that banks will be closed for three consecutive days from June 6 to June 8, this is a long bank weekend especially for those living in Kerala.

How many holidays will there be in June 2025?
