Bank Holiday: 21 June 2025 is the third Saturday of the month and banks will remain open as usual on this day. As per the rules of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks remain closed only on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month.
Banks remain open on the first and third Saturdays and all work is normal. If you are thinking of completing some important work related to the bank, then today is the right day for you. Today is 21st June and all banks across the country will remain open as usual. In India, people are often confused about the banking schedule as to which day the banks will be closed and which day they will be open.
Therefore, it is important to know that Indian banks have weekly holidays only on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. Apart from this, all banks are closed on Sundays as well. On the rest of the days, banks work at normal time. The special thing is that today is the third Saturday, so all the services of the bank will remain operational.
In such a situation, if you want to deposit money, get a draft made or complete any important banking formality, you can do it today without hesitation. However, banks will be closed tomorrow as it is Sunday, so it would be better to complete the important work today itself.
