Monsoon Weather Report: Monsoon has picked up speed. Monsoon is advancing rapidly across Indian states from both the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal. Delhi and Punjab have also been forecasted. Monsoon has reached central and southern Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Madhya Pradesh (MP) from Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand through Bay of Bengal.
Along with this, the monsoon from the Arabian Sea has crossed Gujarat rapidly and reached the states of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain warning for 28 districts of Rajasthan and many districts of UP-MP. According to the Meteorological Department, a rain warning has been issued in 23 districts of Bihar.
Monsoon rains are falling in most states of the country. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for East Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand for Saturday, June 21. Along with this, a yellow alert has been issued for many states including Bihar. The Meteorological Department said that heavy rains may occur in 23 districts of Bihar on Saturday. Along with this, a warning of thunderstorm and lightning has also been issued.
When will it rain in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi?
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department said that the next 24 hours are very important for Punjab, Haryana and Delhi-NCR. Monsoon may hit here in the next two days and there is a possibility of heavy rain. The Meteorological Department said that Delhi is surrounded by two cyclonic circulations. The first is a low pressure over Rajasthan, and the second is a low pressure over Jharkhand. The trough line connecting these two weather systems is passing through Delhi. Due to this, there is a possibility of strong winds, strong thunder, lightning, light hailstorm in Punjab, Delhi-NCR on June 22 and 23. Weather activities may intensify on Sunday, especially during the evening and night. Its effect will remain on the next day i.e. June 23 as well.
Low pressure over Jharkhand-Chhattisgarh
According to Skymet Weather, a low pressure area is currently forming over Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, which is associated with a cyclonic circulation. This system is likely to reach around North Chhattisgarh and East Madhya Pradesh in the next 24 hours. After this, this system will move westwards and will establish itself over Southwest Uttar Pradesh and Northwest Madhya Pradesh. Along with this, an east-west direction trough line will extend from this cyclonic centre to Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Bihar and West Bengal.
