Pilots also got good news on anniversary

Earlier, while celebrating its 18th anniversary, SpiceJet said that the salary of a captain has been increased to Rs 7.5 lakh per month for 75 hours of flight. The new revised salary will be applicable from May 16, 2023. The airline had earlier increased the salary of its pilots in November 2022.

SpiceJet informed that apart from pilots, the salaries of trainers (DE, TRI) and first officers have also been increased in the same proportion. Additionally, the airline has announced a tenure linked monthly loyalty award of up to Rs.1,00,000/- per month for its captains in addition to their monthly remuneration.
