Recently, during a program, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had told that the bullet train will be started from 2026.

He had told that fast work is being done in this direction by the Railways. The Railway Minister also said that several steps have been taken in this direction by the government. Their results have also started coming. On behalf of the Railway Minister, a hint was also given about the fare of bullet train in the past days.

During a program, he had said that no decision has been taken yet regarding the fare of the bullet train. But it will be accessible to the people. He also said that first AC is being made the base for the fare of the bullet train. It is being speculated from his side that the fare of bullet train will be around the fare of First AC only. The final decision on the fare after the project is finalized, he had also told that the fare of the bullet train will be less than the flight and the facilities will also be better.

During this, he also made it clear that the final decision on rent will be taken only after the completion of the project. Right now it can only be guessed about. First the Mumbai-Ahmedabad high speed railway project will be completed. Only after this work will be started on another project. The government has set a target of 2026 for running a bullet train between Surat and Bilimora. He said that good progress is going on in this work.

Let us tell you that there is a preparation to run a bullet train between Mumbai and Ahmedabad at a speed of 320 km per hour. It will take less than two hours to cover the distance of 508 km between the two cities. There will be 12 stations between the two cities.
