NHSRCL News- Minister of State for Railways Darshana Jardosh told on Tuesday that the construction of Bullet Train is going on at a very fast pace. The trial of the train will start between Bilimora and Surat in the year 2026. Land acquisition work has been completed in Gujarat, Dadra Nagar Haveli and Maharashtra.

The time has been fixed for the running of the country’s first bullet train. Now people will not have to wait much to travel by this train. The Minister of State for Railways himself gave information in this regard. He also told between which stations of Gujarat the first bullet train will run. A 508 km long bullet train line is being constructed between Mumbai and Ahmedabad.

According to the National High Speed Rail Corporation, more than half of the pile testing work has been completed. With this, the work of the stations under construction will be completed on time. Track bed laying work started

Laying of the first reinforced concrete (RC) track bed for the MAHSR corridor track system used in the Japanese Shinkansen has started in Surat and Anand. J-Slab ballastless track system is being used for the first time in the country. Completion of the 350 meter long and 12.6 meter diameter first mountain tunnel located near Jaroli village in Valsad, Gujarat in just 10 months is a major achievement.

The first steel bridge, 70 meters long and weighing 673 metric tons, has been built on NH 53 in Surat, Gujarat. 16 out of 28 such bridges are being constructed on the entire route.

A look at the bullet train

National High Speed Rail Corporation is building India’s first high speed rail line of 508 km length between Mumbai and Ahmedabad, of which 352 km route will pass through nine districts of Gujarat and three districts of Maharashtra. The total length of the project in Maharashtra is 156 km and in Nagar Haveli is 4 km.

The project work has started in all these eight districts. 12 stations are being built in this corridor. The speed of the bullet train will be 320 km per hour and its design will be as per 350 km per hour. Bullet train will reach Ahmedabad from Mumbai in two hours
