Salary of which employees will increase?

After the central government, the state government has increased the dearness allowance of the employees. The Maharashtra government has increased the DA of the employees of the State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC). This time the state government has approved an increase of 6 percent in the DA of these employees.

How much will you get DA now?

After this increase made by the state government, the employees will get 34 percent DA. Due to this, there will be a bumper increase in the salary of the employees.

While giving information, MSRTC Vice Chairman and Managing Director Shekhar Channe
has said that at present the employees are getting DA at the rate of 28 per cent, which will be increased to 34 per cent. This increase in salary will put an additional financial burden of Rs 15 crore per month on the state government.

For the last 4 months, the employees were waiting for the increase in their salary, on which the decision has now been taken. Apart from this, it is being demanded that the employees should also get the arrears of DA. Barge said that MSRTC employees should also get arrears of dearness allowance. Payment has not been made by the state government for a long time.

Employees were on strike for almost 5 months

MSRTC currently has around 80,000 employees. For a long time, the employees were on strike for more than 5 months to get their demands met.
