Delhi Metro Update: There is an important news for those who park their car at Delhi Metro station. The way you park a car in the station parking every day, this facility will not be available on August 14 and 15. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has given this information.
Due to security reasons, vehicles will not be allowed to park at Delhi Metro stations on the occasion of Independence Day. DMRC has also fixed the time for this. In such a situation, if you have to go somewhere on the above mentioned dates, then do your planning accordingly.
Parking facilities will not be available at Delhi Metro stations from 6:00 AM on 14th August, 2022 till 2:00 PM on 15th August, 2022 in view of the security measures adopted on the occasion of Independence Day.

According to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), in view of the security measures adopted on the occasion of Independence Day 2022, the Delhi Metro will run from 6:00 am on August 14, 2022 to 2:00 pm on August 15, 2022. Parking facility will not be available at stations.
Along with this, Delhi Metro has also made it clear that metro train services will continue to run. Earlier today i.e. on August 13, Delhi Metro had closed the gates of ITO, Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Delhi Gate stations till 11 am due to rehearsal. Then later they were opened.
