Delhi Nursery Admission: Application forms for admission to seats from nursery to first class for the new academic session in private schools will start being received from Thursday.

There will be admissions for about 1.25 lakh seats in more than 1700 schools. Parents will be able to fill the form online or offline. For this, some schools have made arrangements for registration through QR code. Also, helpdesks for any assistance have also been set up.

Dr. Satveer Sharma, Principal of Vidya Bal Bhawan Senior Secondary School, Mayur Vihar Phase-3, said that the application form for admission can be filled online or offline. You can also apply through the admission registration link by scanning the QR code. This facility is being provided for the first time. You can also register on the school website. A helpdesk has also been set up to resolve problems related to this.

Will be able to get the form from the registration counter

Jyoti Arora, Principal of Mount Abu Public School, Rohini, said that parents will be able to collect and submit the application form from the admission registration counter. You can also fill the form online from the school website. Principal of Mamta Modern Senior Secondary School, Vikaspuri, Pallavi Sharma said that arrangements for admission counter have been made here. All the information related to the admission process will also be available on the school website and note board.

There will also be videography of the draw

A draw for admission will be organized in the presence of parents, which will be videographed. For this, the school will inform at least two days in advance through website, e-mail and notice board.

Counselor will help

Rohit Dua, managing director of Little Flowers Public School, Shivaji Park, said that admission counselors will be deployed to provide information to parents. Priyanka Gulati, Principal of Evergreen Public School, Vasundhara Enclave, said that online and offline forms will be available for admission.

A monitoring cell was formed under the chairmanship of the District Deputy Director. Its responsibility ranges from uploading the criteria to ensuring the points allotted for admission. ● The numbers of children applying for admission will be uploaded by January 5.
● List related problem will be resolved by 13-22 January
● Second list of selected students will be released on 29 January
● The problem of the second list will be solved from January 31 to February 6.
● Another list may be released on 21st February as per requirement

This should be the age

● The age should be at least three years for admission in nursery class, four years for KG class and five years for first class.
● The age for admission in nursery should be less than four years by 31st March.
● The age for entry into KG should be less than five years by 31st March.
● Age for admission in first class should be less than six years as on 31st March (admission year)

Parents, keep these documents ready

● Ration card/smart card issued in the name of parents/guardian (which also contains the name of the child)
● Domicile certificate of the child or parents
● Voter ID card of one of the parents
● Electricity/telephone/water bill or passport in the name of parents
● Documents related to admission criteria
● Aadhaar Card/UID Card of one of the parents
● Passport size photo of the child
● Child’s birth certificate
