What has changed

ARTO Basti Pankaj Singh told Local 18 that now the entire process of getting a learning license has been made faceless, that is, now you can get your learning license from any part of the country. To get a permanent driving license, one has to go to the RTO office of the district. Earlier, some questions were answered manually and physical tests were done, but now the process of getting a permanent driving license is being completely computerized.

Pankaj Singh says that Maruti Company India Limited has completely automated this track. The company has made it completely digital and automated under the CSR fund, in which there will be no manual interface of any kind. Now to get a permanent driving license, the applicant will have to pass a total of 10 steps. This new track has been prepared in the Driving Training Institute (DTI) built in the Government ITI campus, where there will be no need for manual test now.

A total of 19 cameras and sensors have been installed on the track and a control room has also been built. As soon as the applicant sits on the vehicle, his face will be scanned and then the sensors will track his activities. If the vehicle touches the white strip of the track, the applicant will fail.

He said that the work on the track is almost complete, and after connecting to the departmental portal, the test will start under the new process. He further said that this process will be fully implemented in the next 7 to 15 days.
