A meeting was held on behalf of the Chief Minister with other top cabinet ministers at the Secretariat today. In this meeting, the Chief Minister of Punjab has given a special gift to the raw employees. In fact, the Punjab government is going to ensure that raw employees like adhoc, contract, daily wage and work charged.

9 thousand employees will get benefit

The benefit of this decision of the Punjab government will be available to about 9 thousand nonpermanent employees of the state. Due to the need in the department, instead of the posts of Group C employees and Group D employees, some employees were assisted in daily wedges employees. The Punjab government says that if someone else is recruited in their place, then it will be like injustice to them.

Some employees are working for 10 years

Giving this information, a spokesperson of the Chief Minister’s Office said that due to the acute shortage of Group C and Group D posts, recruitment was done on these posts on contract / casual basis. Some of these employees have been working for more than 10 years.

He has devoted important years of his life to the service of the state. The reasoning of the cabinet was that going to this level, now excluding these employees or replacing them with new recruitment, would be totally unfair and unfair to these employees.

These employees will benefit

In order to regularize their services, adhoc, contract, daily wage, work charged or raw employees should have been working continuously for 10 years till the issuance of this extant policy and as per the terms and conditions of the post they hold at the time of posting in the special cadre. Must have experience and requisite qualification.
To be confirmed, the employee must have worked at least 240 days during each of the calendar years of these 10 years. Notional break in work at the time of counting ten years of service will not be taken into account.

retirement after 58 years

In order to continue the services of these employees, the government has decided that the employees who will be posted in such posts, which will not have a cadre post. Their services will be placed in special cadre posts. The recruitment process of the beneficiary employee will start after submitting the application form along with all the relevant documents from his side. The services of the beneficiary employees who are being placed in the special cadre will continue till the age of 58 years.
