Himachal Pradesh Cabinet meeting will be held on 6th October at 10:30 am at Shimla Secretariat. In this, the announcements made in the budget speech of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur and the installment of three percent DA to the employee-pensioners can be approved. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur will preside over the meeting. A decision can be taken in the meeting to upgrade the primary health centers and to give the status of tehsils to the sub-tehsils.

Two months are left for the announcement of assembly elections in the state. The BJP government wants to keep every section happy for the mission repeat. On Saturday, the last day of the assembly session, the Chief Minister also held discussions with Additional Finance Secretary Prabodh Saxena. Along with this, in the cabinet meeting also consulted regarding DA and arrears.

DA will get a benefit of Rs 250 crore

With the announcement of DA, employees and pensioners will get financial benefits of about Rs 250 crore. Every employee will get a monthly benefit of minimum one thousand to five thousand rupees. Employees have got 31 percent DA, which will reach 34 percent. The government had given 3% dearness allowance in February this year.

50 to 80 thousand rupees profit from arrears If 25 percent is given as the first installment of arrears, class IV employee will get 50 to 80 thousand rupees. There will be less payment of arrears to the above categories of personnel. Officers serving in higher posts will get a benefit of up to ten thousand rupees.

On January 3, the government had announced the implementation of the Sixth Pay Commission. In such a situation, the arrears from 2016 to December 2020 have to be paid. If the government announces to pay arrears in one installment, then the employees will get a benefit of three lakh to 16 lakh rupees. It is certain that the arrears will be paid in at least four instalments. 11 thousand crore to 13 thousand crore will be required to give arrears.
