EPFO Higher Pension: Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) members have got the facility to make corrections or changes in the higher pension application form.
EPFO has given the option of a delete application button for those applying for higher pension. Through this option, EPS members will be able to rectify any mistake in the online application form or can also delete their application.
Mistake can be rectified in higher pension application
Pensioners and members have been continuously requesting EPFO that online facility was being demanded to upload files at the time of application, to correct mistakes in the application for joint option and option verification . After which it was announced by EPFO to start this facility.
Application can be deleted
According to EPFO , after the introduction of this new facility, online employees will also be able to delete the application form using the delete application button. The employees will then have the option to submit an application for verification with the joint option by uploading the correct details and documents.
when can use it
Employees will be able to use the application delete button only if the place where you are employed has not responded to your application for verification of option or joint option.
Till when can apply online
EPFO has fixed June 26, 2023 as the deadline to apply for higher pension. Earlier, the deadline to apply for higher pension has been extended twice. Earlier, the last date to do this was March 3, 2023, which was later extended to May 3, 2023.
