Fitment Factor Change: There will be an increase of Rs 18000 in the basic salary of these employees

An announcement has been made by the government regarding the DA hike for the central employees for the month of January. The amount of increase in dearness allowance will be given along with the salary of March. Now only two days are left for the new financial year to start.

Along with this, the discussion of revision in the basic salary of the employees has started. That is, the new financial year is going to be wonderful for the central government employees. The government is moving towards implementing a new formula by abolishing the Pay Commission in the coming year.

There can be a big change in the salary of central employees-

Under this change, a change in the fitment factor of the employees is expected. Due to this, there can be a big jump in the salary of the employees. Central employees have been demanding for a long time that their fitment factor should be revised again.

According to sources, the government may increase the fitment factor by reviewing it in the new financial year. The current fitment factor of government employees is 2.57 times.

Salary may change by Rs 8,000-

There are two sides regarding the change in the fitment factor of central employees. The first party says that the fitment factor should be increased from the existing 2.57 times to 3 times. This will increase the basic salary of the employees by about Rs 3,000.

At the same time, the other side says that according to the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission, the fitment factor should be 3.68 times. Due to this, there can be a change of about 8000 rupees in the salary of the employees.

Know- How will the salary increase?

At present, the minimum salary of central employees is Rs 18,000. After the decision on the fitment factor, it will be increased to Rs 26 thousand. However, no official information has come from the government on this.

Presently on the basis of fitment factor 2.57 times and basic pay of Rs 18000 excluding other allowances Rs 18000 X 2.57 = Rs 46260 but if it is increased to 3.68 then the salary of employees excluding other allowances will be Rs 26000 X 3.68 = Rs 95680.

It is noteworthy that in the past, the central government has announced an increase in the dearness allowance of its employees, after which the dearness allowance has increased to 42 per cent. Earlier dearness allowance was available at 38 per cent.
