Delhi Flight Timing changes: Due to drop in temperature at many places in Delhi, there was fog in the capital. Visibility was very low due to dense fog in the morning. Due to low visibility, timings of many flights were changed at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport. Along with this, routes of many flights were diverted.

Cold continues to wreak havoc across North India including the capital Delhi. Delhi Airport has issued a passenger advisory due to reduced visibility due to fog. Zero visibility was recorded at airports in 6 states including Delhi at 6 am on Monday due to fog. Due to this many flights have been affected. Delhi Airport advised passengers to come to the airport only after confirming their flights.

Let us tell you that apart from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan are also in the grip of dense fog. The Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the cold may increase further in the new year. Cold wave alert has been issued in Punjab and Haryana.

The Meteorological Department has released the fog map of the country. In this, the areas with red circle are more affected by smog. These include Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Western Uttar Pradesh, Northern Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh and some parts of Eastern Telangana.

At the same time, many flights from Hyderabad and Bengaluru have also been affected. Vistara announced changes in the routes of many of its flights. Vistara Airlines diverted six flights coming from Hyderabad to Delhi.
