It was 6.2 percent in the same quarter a year ago. Shah said, “Three times increase in Khadi sales means creation of jobs for millions and crores of people. When you give them jobs, make them self-reliant, spread happiness in their homes, then the rising GDP figures become humanitarian. These measures not only increase GDP, but also bring self-confidence, self-reliance and happiness to crores of people.
