The airline GoFirst, which is facing financial crisis, has extended the period of cancellation of flight services. The company said that due to operational reasons, the flight services will be suspended till June 4, 2023.

Earlier flight services were suspended till May 30, which has now been extended for five more days. Let us inform that the flight services of GoFirst have been continuously closed since May 3. The company decided to go through the voluntary insolvency process. This decision has also got the approval of NCLT.

Brainstorming with DGCA officials: Meanwhile, GoFirst on Monday discussed its revival plans with officials of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The meeting comes after the DGCA last week asked the airline to submit a revival plan within 30 days.

Explain that on May 24, the DGCA has asked the company to submit a revival plan within 30 days for resumption of operations. The DGCA then asked the airline to provide information on operational aircraft, pilots and other personnel, maintenance management and funds, among other things. Once the revival plan is submitted by GoFirst, it will be reviewed by DGCA for further course of action.
