Gold-Silver Rate Today: Gold and silver prices are softening on hopes of relief from US tariffs. In just 12-13 days, silver prices have fallen more than 20% from their record highs, while gold has also fallen by more than 8%. Gold has been falling for three consecutive days, while silver has also been falling for two consecutive days. Gold Rate Today In India: Gold was at a record high a day before Dhanteras and silver two days before Dhanteras. Since then, their prices have fallen significantly. Gold’s shine has faded for the third consecutive day. Gold has become cheaper by ₹10 per ten grams in the capital Delhi today.

In three days, 24-carat gold has fallen by ₹4810 per ten grams and 22-carat gold by ₹4410. Now talking about silver, one kilogram of silver has become cheaper in Delhi for the second consecutive day.

After remaining stable for three consecutive days, the price of one kilogram of silver has fallen by ₹4100 in two days. Now talking about their record levels, a day before Dhanteras, i.e. on October 17, 2025, 24-carat gold was available at a record price of ₹1,32,770 per ten grams and 22-carat gold at a record price of ₹1,21,700. Silver, on the other hand, reached a price of ₹1.90 lakh per kg on October 15, 2025.

In Hyderabad and Bengaluru, the price of 22-carat gold is ₹1,10,740 per 10 grams, while the price of 24-carat gold is ₹1,20,810 per 10 grams.

Prices in Lucknow and Patna

Talking about Patna and Lucknow, the price of 22-carat gold in Patna is ₹1,10,790 per 10 grams, while the price of 24-carat gold is ₹1,20,860 per 10 grams. In Lucknow, 22-carat gold is available for ₹1,10,890 and 24-carat gold for ₹1,20,960.

Silver prices fall for the second consecutive day after three days of stability.

Silver prices in Delhi have fallen by ₹4,100 per kg in two consecutive days. Prior to this, its price remained stable for three consecutive days. Prior to this, it had fallen by ₹17,000 per kg in four consecutive days. Today, October 29th, silver is selling for ₹1,50,900 per kg in Delhi. Its price has fallen by ₹100 per kg today.

In other major metropolises, silver is selling at similar prices in Mumbai and Kolkata, but in Chennai, the price is ₹1,64,900 per kg, meaning that Chennai has the most expensive silver among the four metropolises.
