What is Fair Cap?

According to media reports, the government had announced the removal of the fair cap last week. Let us tell you that the fair cap means that the companies cannot keep the rent less than the fixed limit nor can they increase more than the upper limit.

Companies have reduced rent, let us tell you that after this decision of the government, companies are making full preparations to attract customers. For this reason, companies like Akasa, Indigo, Go First, SpiceJet have made a big cut in the fare, after which the ticket booking of passengers can be done cheaply.

You can also do air travel for Rs 1500

Akasa airline started operating a month ago and now the company is giving an opportunity to travel by air on Mumbai-Bangalore route for Rs 2,000-2,200. At the same time, if we talk about last month, then the fare of this route was Rs 3,948 per person at that time. At the same time, the fare of Mumbai-Ahmedabad route was earlier around Rs 5000, which has now come down to Rs 1500.

How much did the rent cost?

If we talk about the fare from Delhi to Lucknow, then it was earlier between Rs 3,500-4,000, but now companies have reduced this fare to between 1900 and 2000. At the same time, if we talk about the fares of Kochi and Bangalore, then the fare of this route has also come down between 1100 to 1300. The cheapest flight facility on this route is being provided by Go-First, IndiGo and Air Asia.

The price band was imposed in May 2020, according to information received from the Indian Airlines official, since last month there has been a boom in the travel sector, due to which there has been a huge cut in the fares of domestic companies. With this, companies are expected to accelerate their business. For this reason companies are offering special offers to the customers. The government had fixed the price band on domestic airfares during the Corona period during May 2020, so that the prices could not be increased unnecessarily.
