Air India News: Air India CEO and MD Campbell Wilson said that 470 planes have been ordered by the company. After this, the company will get a new plan every six days for the next 18 months.

“We have new aircraft, we are recruiting many new crew and staff, improving the training system,” he said at the 67th meeting of the presidents of the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines. There is still more work to do and we are making good progress.

Wilson said that in addition, new aircraft are being deployed on international routes. Apart from this, most of the stalled aircraft have also been brought into service. He said that Tata-owned Air India has ordered 470 aircraft to serve the Indian economy which is growing at a CAGR of 8 percent.

The delivery of these 470 aircraft will start soon. After this, the airline is preparing to receive a new plane every six days in the next 18 months. Wilson also expressed confidence in competing with other airlines and increasing traffic for Air India.
