Will 8th pay scale be applicable?

According to media reports, after the 7th Pay Commission, the 8th Pay Commission will not come or not. will not come. According to the sources, the government is working on such a system so that the salary of the employees can be increased on the basis of their performance linked increment like private employees. For this, a new plan can be brought soon, on preparing its proposal.

Discussions are going on. According to media reports, if this happens, then the salary of employees will increase according to different levels. All allowances and salary can be reviewed on the basis of Aykroyd formula. Central employee with pay level matrix 1 to 5 can have their minimum salary between 21 thousand.

It is reviewed by the Labor Bureau, so it has been suggested by the government that changes should be made in this metrics from time to time and for this there is no need for the next pay commission. Since the late former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, in one of his speeches in Parliament in 2016, had indicated that the government should consider the salary of employees ahead of the Pay Commission, in such a situation, if the sources are to be believed, then the Modi government will now have a new salary.

Instead of bringing the commission, at present, the new formula and promotion can be considered. Under the 7th Pay Commission, in the new pay scale, the salary is made on the basis of Pay Matrix and Pay Matrix was linked to the fitment factor, Under which the salary is made on the basis of 2.57 times fitment factor. This arrangement has come into effect from 1 January 2016.

How much will be the increase in salary, understand like this

The minimum pay scale under 6th Pay Commission was Rs.7,000 with fitment factor 1.86 times and increment 54%. Minimum pay scale reached Rs.18,000 under 7th Pay Commission with fitment factor 2.57 times and increment 14.29%. Now if the fitment factor is 3.68 times then the minimum pay scale will be 26,000. For example, if the basic salary of a central employee is Rs 18,000, then his salary excluding allowances will be 18,000 X 2.57 = Rs 46,260 profit. But the salary will be Rs 95,680 (26000 X 3.68 = 95,680) i.e. Rs 49,420 will be benefited in the salary.
