Gruha Lakshmi Scheme: The promise of Griha Lakshmi Yojana was made by the Congress party in its election manifesto. According to the state government, this scheme will benefit 12.8 crore families of the state. Griha Lakshmi Yojana has been started to empower women financially. When will I get the money? (Gruha Lakshmi Scheme Benefits)
The Congress said in a tweet that the beneficiaries would get money under the Griha Laxmi Yojana between August 15-20 and the registration would continue for one year. The state has set aside Rs 18,000 crore for this. This scheme will benefit more than 1,11,00,000 women.
Who can apply?
Earlier this week, while announcing the registration date, Women and Child Welfare Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar said that all women whose names appear on BPL and APL cards as the head of the household are eligible for the scheme. Meanwhile, women or those whose husbands pay income tax or GST are not eligible under this scheme.

- The woman should belong to Antyodaya, BPL and APL families where she should be identified as the head as per the ration card issued by the government.
- Only one woman in a family will be the beneficiary of this scheme.
- Women should not be government employees.

For offline registration, you have to go to the designated center. The female head of the family will have to approach these centers with all the necessary documents. Taking advantage of the facility of this scheme, any person can register at the centers for free. Apart from this, government representatives will reach door-to-door for the registration of the beneficiaries.
