Government job gift to 70,000 youth, PM Modi will give appointment letters on June 13

Government Jobs: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute appointment letters to 70,000 people at the job fair on 13 June 2023. At 10.30 am on Tuesday morning, Prime Minister Modi will join this program of employment fair through video conferencing, in which appointment letters will be given to newly appointed employees. PM Modi will also address the youth in this program.

Jobs will be available in these departments

Apart from the departments of the Central Government, this appointment is being done in the State Government and Union Territories. Newly appointed employees who have been selected across the country in different departments of the government like Department of Financial Services, Department of Posts, Department of School Education, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Defence, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Will join Atomic Energy, Ministry of Railways, Department of Audit and Accounts and Ministry of Home Affairs.

The employment fair is a major step towards fulfilling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to give top priority to employment generation. The job fair will further act as a catalyst in employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development.

Newly recruited government employees are also getting an opportunity to train themselves through Karmayogi Prarambh, an online module on the iGOT Karmayogi portal, where more than 400 e-learning courses are made available. These employees can connect with it from anywhere and through any device.

Earlier on May 16, 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given appointment letters to 71,000 people. In June last year, the Prime Minister had announced that in the next one and a half years, 10 lakh people would be given government jobs in mission mode. The Prime Minister himself reviewed the vacant posts in all government ministries and departments in June 2022, after which the decision to recruit was taken.
