Such a situation has never been seen in the last few years. However, the Meteorological Department says that from today there may be a rise in temperature in some parts of the country. But at the same time some areas are also going to come under the grip of cyclonic storm. Apart from Odisha and West Bengal, which are adjacent to the sea, the people of its surrounding states will also be affected by this.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday predicted heavy rainfall over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands from May 7 to May 10. According to IMD, a cyclonic circulation is likely to develop over southeast Bay of Bengal. Due to this, a low pressure area is also likely to form in the same region around May 7. The IMD has also said that, “A cyclonic storm is very likely to form over southeast Bay of Bengal around May 8.”

Forecast of heavy rain

Rainfall likely at most places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands on 7th May. Heavy rain is forecast during May 8-10. During this, there is also a possibility of wind blowing at a speed of 40-50 kmph in the surrounding areas. This speed can also cross 70. Wind speed reaching 60-70 kmph gusting to 80 kmph very likely from May 10 onwards.

Chances of rain in Delhi too

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, it may rain in Delhi even today. Also, there is a possibility of cloudy sky. This means that the people of Delhi will continue to get respite from the heat. However, no alert has been issued about how long this relief will continue. According to IMD, the temperature in Delhi is likely to be between 21 to 35 degrees.
