After rain and strong winds, Delhi-NCR is covered with a blanket of fog today Friday. According to the information of the Meteorological Department, due to the active Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain in some parts of North India till February 5. It is snowing in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

According to IMD information, the weather is changing in the mountainous areas due to Western Disturbance. Due to a new western disturbance, the Meteorological Department has reported snowfall at different places in Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh on 1 February. Let us tell you that there is a possibility of light snowfall after the rain in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. At the same time, due to snowfall in Uttarakhand and Kashmir, the weather is becoming cold. A large number of tourists are going to visit the hilly areas.

People of Delhi-NCR troubled by cold winds

Now the intensity of cold is increasing even more due to icy winds. Due to the increase in the speed of these winds coming from the north-west direction on Wednesday, severe cold is being felt since Thursday morning.

It has been raining since Wednesday evening. Let us tell you that till 5 pm, 8.5 mm rain was recorded in the capital Delhi. According to the information of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain during the day in many areas of Delhi till 5th February. Today’s minimum temperature in Delhi is likely to be 9 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature will be 19 degrees Celsius. The weather department has also issued a yellow alert for fog for the next two days.

An alert of snowfall along with rain has been issued here. According to the information received, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of two new western disturbances amid the melting winter. The minimum temperature recorded today in Delhi is 9 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature can reach 19 degrees Celsius.

Will get relief from cold

According to IMD information, the temperature will increase after the rain and people in the plains will get relief from the freezing cold. Let us tell you that in the next 3-5 days, the minimum temperature is likely to increase by 2-3 degrees Celsius in many parts of North-West India. According to the report, dense fog may occur during morning and night in many parts of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Dense fog may occur in some parts of North Rajasthan, North Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and North-East India. There is dew in Delhi NCR since morning and Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar are also in the grip of dense fog.
