Weather Update Today: Due to the rains in many states of the country in the past, the weather has remained pleasant. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding rain, hailstorm and thunderstorm in the country.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of strong winds accompanied by rain and hailstorm on March 23 and 24 in northwest India.

Chances of rain in Delhi-NCR

According to the Meteorological Department, there may be a change in the weather of Delhi on Thursday. During this, the National Capital Region will remain cloudy. Along with this, light rain and drizzle can be seen in some places. Apart from this, similar weather will prevail in Delhi-NCR on Friday as well, but the rains are likely to intensify.

Yellow alert issued in Himachal

According to the latest forecast issued by the Meteorological Department, a yellow alert has been issued for thunderstorm and lightning in five districts of Himachal Pradesh, Chamba, Kangra, Una, Hamirpur and Bilaspur. There is a possibility of snowfall in the higher areas of the state and rain in the lower areas.

Chance of rain in these states today

According to the Meteorological Department, from this evening the weather will change in some states of the country. There is a possibility of hailstorm with rain in Northwest India from this evening. There may be hailstorm with rain in Punjab, West Rajasthan, Jammu-Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Also, the weather may change in Haryana, Chandigarh and Assam-Meghalaya and Nagaland, Tripura.

Meteorological Department issued alert

The Meteorological Department said that on March 24, there is a possibility of rain in most of the states of the country. Heavy rains may occur in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, West UP and East India, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain and hailstorm on March 26 in Central India and East India.
