IMD issued alert: heavy rain warning in these 10 districts for next 3 days, check details

The weather is constantly changing across the country including the capital Delhi. On the one hand, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains with strong winds and thunderstorms in Delhi-NCR from March 17 to March 20. On the other hand, in many states of the country, summer is breaking records in the month of March itself.

Pleasant weather in the capital

Talking about the Delhi-NCR region, today the minimum temperature was recorded at 18 degrees and the maximum temperature was recorded at 30 degrees. The weather has remained pleasant here since morning. According to IMD, a thunderstorm has also been issued with strong winds. Due to which the maximum temperature will drop by 2 to 3 degree Celsius. However, a slight rise in temperature is likely to be observed on March 21 and 22.

In fact, tomorrow i.e. March 16, a Western Disturbance is becoming active due to which change in weather patterns is being seen across the country. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh and other eastern states. Along with this, there is a possibility of heavy rain and lightning accompanied by thunder and lightning in interior Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Bengaluru till March 21 including Goa Maharashtra.

In Uttar Pradesh, it is going to be as hot as April and May in the month of March itself. Because of which the change in the weather is being seen due to the increasing pollution and global warming. However, the Meteorological Department has also issued an alert for rain in UP this week. However, IMD has issued a warning of rain and snowfall for the next 5 days in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand and Himachal including Jammu Kashmir, Leh-Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad due to the Western Disturbance which became active since yesterday.
