The website of the Income Tax Department is not working today i.e. from the morning of June 10, 2023. However, meanwhile, information has been received that it will be back to normal after 11:30 am today itself. The website is down due to maintenance. Services will be available on June 10, 2023 after 11:30 am.

You do not need to worry because the last date for income tax filing is far ahead. The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) had told in the beginning of the year 2023 that the income tax return which will be filed for the financial year 2022-23 (AY 2023-24). The last date for filing ITR for salaried individuals and taxpayers whose accounts do not need to be audited is 31 July 2023.
